The Boa Lacing System used and abused on the L.L. Bean Technical Upland Boot

Eight More Miles hunting blog has issued its follow up observations to an already stellar Boa Lacing System review on the L.L. Bean Technical Upland Boot.

“My Upland Technicals are the only pair I’ve worn this season – they’re that comfortable. The Boa stainless steel lacing system cinches the boot around your foot as tight or as loose as you want it — perfect for different terrains and temperatures. Vans Boa Snowboard Boots: 10 Years of Boa and still clicking!

It seems lacing systems have been all the rage the last few seasons. Ever since Vans & Boa introduced the first Vans Boa snowboard boots 10 years ago, Boa has changed the game. There are certainly plenty of lacing system options available to choose from but unfortunately many of them don’t offer much of a benefit. Don’t settle for less. When buying snowboard boots and deciding on which lacing system to choose ask yourself if it provides better performance and fit or is it just another marketing gimmick? No other lacing system delivers the versatility, custom fit and performance benefits that the Boa Lacing System provides. There truly is no substitute. For the 2010/11 season Vans has rolled out several new Vans Boa snowboard boot configurations to ensure there is a boot for every rider preference. 1 zone, 2 zone, 3 zone…you decide!
