We were pleased to pick up the latest issue of Velo News and notice a large number of podium finishers sporting Specialized cycling shoes with Boa.

American Evelyn Stevens of the Specialized-lululemon women’s pro cycling team had the biggest win of her career on April 18, when she won the Fleche Wallonne Femmes World Cup cycling race. The victory places her in a solid position for being nominated to the U.S. women’s Olympic cycling team.

Maxim Iglinskiy of team Astana rode to the front of the field at the 257.5-kilometer Liege-Bastogne-Liege in April, also wearing the Specialized S-Works Boa. “It’s a beautiful victory for me and for my country,” Iglinskiy said in an interview with Cycling Weekly. “I think we will have a big party in Kazakhstan.”

my Boa is “shot” ( lets go easily ) & specialized has been “out of stock” for ages. how do I get a replacement ( S-1 I think ) for the plastic disk ( the “pawls” that catch the teeth are worn out )?
