OhioOutside’s Mark Gorman gave The North Face Sentinel Boa a tough review and test through his personal gauntlet of roads and trails. The outcome? Well, we think this quote pretty much sums up his thoughts on running shoes and the Boa Lacing System: “I would suggest all running shoe manufacturers look into this technology.” That’s what we like to hear! Read the entire review here at OhioOutside.com.

Its been a few days since we returned from the parks and pipes of Keystone and Breckenridge, Colorado. Now we’re back in the office…hard at work, putting the wealth of product information collected at the Team Summit to good use for 2010 and beyond! How can we describe the first annual Boa Team Summit? How about with the words engraved on the headset caps of Gary Fisher Bikes: “All work and no play…is no good at all.” Well, we agree! The first annual Boa Team Summit was a successful four days of Boa product design meetings and testing with our athletes! Not to mention a great time making new friends and witnessing firsthand the progressive snowboarding our team riders are throwing down. After hearing rumors that the X Games are going to add bowling to the event lineup in 2011, the Boa Snowboard team took a break from the mountain to test their mad skills on the lanes of the local bowling alley. Winners would get bragging rights. Losers would have to wash dishes after the next morning’s pancake breakfast at the Boa Treehouse.
Bowl on! Bradon Reis (Flow) and Eric Willett (Vans) waiting on deck to thunder roll down the lanes.
Thornton came thru big-time in the tenth and final frame. With the championship hanging in the balance, he scored a strike and a spare.
In a showdown for the ages, the team of Steve Waters (Ride), Brandon Reis (Flow), Boa Marketing Manager Garett Graubins and Skylar Thornton (K2) barely eked out the win.
“After an epic battle of gutter balls and smashed bowling pins,” says Steve Waters, “we proved our superiority. No doubt about it.”
