Corrugated Ten years ago, during a recon flight to map out the mountains around Haines, AK, this face captured my imagination and never let go of it. The more I searched the world’s mountains the more I realized how unique and special this face was. Because the peak was located just over the US boarder into Canada [...] […]
“With the Boa Lacing System consisting of a web of cables that tighten around the foot for consistent closure by turning a knob on the back of the shoe, the glove-like fit is one that you won’t find in traditional tie-up lace shoes. Much like the kind of mechanism you see on ski boots, another advantage of the Boa Lacing System is the quick on and off capability of this shoe, along with the ability to turn the dial to tighten shoes during a round.” – Terry Ross, Golf Vacations Magazine

Be sure and check out the June issue of Field & Stream. There’s a great run down of various studded, rubber-sole fly fishing wading boots. We’re definitely a little biased towards the highlighted Korkers Guide Boot with Boa! Get rid of those wet, heavy, shoelaces that are always coming untied!

Stage 10 Giro d’Italia Update: Garmin-Transitions’ Tyler Farrar (Lake CX401 with Boa) wins his second 2010 Giro d’Italia stage! Astana’s Alexander Vinokourov (Specialized BG S-Works Boa S1) stays at the top of the general classification.
Overall leader Alexander Vinokourov (Astana) held onto his maglia rosa through stage 9 of the Giro d’Italia. Check out Vino’s custom Specialized BG S-Works with Boa S1 tech!
The S1 represents the smallest, lightest, lowest profile reel in the arsenal of Boa Lacing System products. While still delivering on the durability, uniform closure, on-the-fly adjustability, and secure fit provided by other Boa products, the S1 brings multi-adjustability to a completely new level. Put simply, it allows a “righty-tighty, lefty-loosey” approach to achieving the exactly precise fit in a matter of split seconds.
